Are you a courageous and responsible young individual with a heart for the less fortunate? Do you often take on your daily responsibilities fearlessly? When faced with something you're passionate about, will you not hesitate to get involved even if there will be obstacles standing in your way? If you are someone who feels strongly about social responsibility and human ethics, believe in justice and is willing to stand up for the vulnerable, you just might be who we're looking for!
Being a 30-Hour Famine Advocate requires you to commit to a 300-day challenge. The four selected Famine Advocates will join us on a World Vision Study Tour as we visit one of our Area Development Programmes in Sri Lanka. The one week trip will allow you to witness firsthand how our community development work effectively changes the lives of the vulnerable. After that, you will be equipped to advocate for those in need through a series of training. Throughout the 300 days as a Famine Advocate, you will use your voice and influence to encourage others to join us on this journey of eradicating poverty.
