WORLD VISION INTERVENTIONS AND BENEFICIARIES
 
The funds raised through the 30-Hour Famine 2019 will support World Vision's community development work in Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, providing children and families in need with livelihoods, health and nutrition, and child protection. Initiatives include:
 
Promote home gardens to increase food sources
Improve access to quality healthcare services
Improve health through nutrition knowledge
Improve community child protection services
Set up Village Saving and Loan Associations
Give children the opportunity to participate in their community


 
Who Are The Malaysia Beneficiaries
 
Funds will also go towards World Vision Malaysia's community development work in Sabah as well as projects supporting vulnerable children and families in Malaysia.

  2. Healthcare and community development programmes (Dignity for Children Foundation)

  5. Community safety projects for vulnerable children in lpoh (Good Shepherd Services)
  6. WeCare-Sponsor-a-Child Programme (Yayasan Sin Chew)
  7. Refugee education expansion project (ElShaddai Centre Bhd)
  8. Psychological support services for survivors of child sexual abuse (Protect and Save the Children)
