For the past 20 years since our first 30-Hour Famine event, World Vision Malaysia had partnered corporations nationwide. Such partnerships have contributed to the growth of this global movement in our very own country.
Our partnership is vital. Together we work towards transforming the lives of those living in extreme poverty especially children who are most vulnerable.
Thank you to our partners and sponsors who have stood with us through the years. Your partnership and sponsorship are invaluable to us!
Our Founding Partner - Sin Chew Daily
The 30-Hour Famine was first introduced in Malaysia in 1997, as a joint effort between World Vision Malaysia and the newspaper corporation Sin Chew Daily. The purpose of the campaign then was to raise funds for the dire famine situation in North Korea. Since then, it has grown to be one of the biggest movements in Malaysia today.
