Sin Chew Daily

The 30-Hour Famine was first introduced in Malaysia in 1997, as a joint effort between World Vision Malaysia and the newspaper corporation Sin Chew Daily. The purpose of the campaign then was to raise funds for the dire famine situation in North Korea. Since then, it has grown to be one of the biggest movements in Malaysia.
